Ondanks dat Natascha Libbert pas in 2009 afstudeerde, weten veel mensen dat zij haar camera richt op de barsten en scheuren van onze kunstmatig gecreëerde en gecontroleerde leefomgeving. De menselijke maakbaarheidsdrift en de kortstondige bevrediging uit succes worden vaak op scherpzinnige wijze in haar verstilde werk blootgelegd. In haar nieuwste werk neemt zij meer afstand van haar onderwerp en verruimt ze bewust haar focus om meer elementen onderdeel te maken van hetgeen ze bevraagt. Hierbij zet ze ook de deur open voor de makers en gebruikers van de ruimtes die zij vastlegt. Dit levert beelden op waarin de discussie nog verder oplaait, waarin je als toeschouwer niet alleen te maken krijgt met Libbert, maar ook met de gebruiker van de ruimte, die in een geheel eigen belevingswereld leeft.
Despite the fact that Natascha Libbert only graduated in 2009, a lot of people know already that she aims her camera at the cracks and tears in our artificially created and controlled environment. The human urge for mass production and the short lasting satisfaction of success are shown at a sagacious way in her stilled work. In her newest work she distances herself more from her topic and consciously broadens her focus to enable the insertion of more elements in what she questions. In doing so she opens the door for the producers and the users of the places she captures. This results in images that feed the discussion even more. In which the spectator is not only confronted with Libbert but also with the user and his perception.
